TO SOULVATION NEWQUAY STOP PRESS... Our accommodation is now sold out. We still have a few Weeknder Passes available but they are selling out fast Following the success of the Soulvation Newquay Weekender in April 2009, we are delighted to be able to announce details of our 2010 event. This is a 3 day/night event taking place over the Bank Holiday Weekend, Friday April 30 to Sunday May 2 inclusive. We have moved the event to The Cliffdene Hotel, this means we can offer accommodation for over 100 on the same site as the music. We believe this will improve what has been rightly praised as "the friendly weekender". Another bonus is that both the Rare/Northern Soul rooms and the Modern Soul lounge will be on the same floor. The music played last time was top notch and the DJ's confirmed so far guarantee more Soul satisfaction in the unique surroundings of Cornwall. Northern/Rare - Mick H, Pete Lyster, Sean Chapman, Pete Hullat, Nick Hackett, Nige Brown, Neil Rushton, Andy McCabe, Ady Heaney, Derek Mead. Modern Soul Lounge - Terry Jones, Sean Livesey, Neil Rushton, Neil Self. Friday afternoon will kick off with a champagne meet-and-greet session in the bar at The Cliffdene followed by the evening session when the party really gets started. Saturday afternoon we move on to a bar overlooking the world famous Fistral Beach - home of the UK Surfing scene - for a mix up of Rare and Modern Soul. Saturday night we are back at The Cliffdene for another evening session. Sunday afternoon will be devoted to "Not The Northern Soul Top 500" and "Modern Soul Anthems" sessions at The Cliffdene and then Sunday evening it's the finale party. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT SESSONS - 8PM TILL 4AM The accommodation package will include freshly cooked breakfast and 3 course evening meal. You can choose between staying Friday and Saturday for £99 (includes Weekend Music Pass) or for just another £30 add Sunday as well and enjoy the Bank Holiday Weekend. We have a double, twin and (limited number) single rooms, please specify your choice. Prices are per person. If you wish to find your own accommodation that is fine, but please note the capacity at The Cliffdene is limited to 150, which means we have just 50 Weekend Passes available, these are £30 each.
